Sick for the last few days, but now back on my feet!
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, they say :)
I got food poisoning in the middle of the week and felt really ill for a few days. Fortunately I'm feeling better now and getting back on my feet. Health comes first, so I took the time to recover.
Frustratingly, I had big plans this week to make solid progress on polishing some elements on our product now that we've implemented the integration with Stripe.
Since we're going to have a free and paid plans, we will be adding some restrictions on the free plan. I've already coded up a few of these restrictions but there were a few more complex ones I was hoping to finish this week.
Guess that won't happen this week.
I'm still feeling upbeat despite this temporary hurdle :) . In moments like these, I like to go back to inspiring quotes from my Stoic readings to draw strength from, and this one by Marcus Aurelius seems very apt:
The art of life is more like the wrestler’s art than the dancer’s, in respect of this, that it should stand ready and firm to meet onsets which are sudden and unexpected.

Keep wrestling, fellow builders.
